Blow-dry bars the new rage

paris spring street styleIf you can’t afford to have your hair cut and styled every week you might try just having a blow dry.

Dedicated salons are opening up in all the major cities in the UK offered a styling without cutting your hair – and at a reduced price.

Having said that paying half of what you normally pay for a full cut and style just to have your hair washed and blow-dried might seem a bit steep.

But the idea is catching on with the number of appointments trebling last year. “Where once we only had blow dries after a trim it is now perfectly normal to book in for a weekly blow dry minus the cut” said an industry insider.

One survey claims that 50% of women have visited a salon specifically for a blow-dry in the last 12 months. Well maybe …

The salon owners describe it as ‘The ultimate pampering experience that costs less than going to your regular hairdresser” and “a fast affordable treat“.
